A Peek into my morning routine

No two days are ever exactly the same in mom life, but over time I’ve found a rhythm that keeps me grounded, energized, and ready to handle both business and motherhood. Here’s what a typical day looks like for me:

6:30 AM – Coffee + Quiet
Before the kids wake up, I pour myself a cup of coffee and spend about 10 minutes journaling. Sometimes it’s gratitude, sometimes it’s intentions, and sometimes it’s just a brain dump to clear the mental clutter. It’s my little moment of peace before the day starts.

7:30 AM – Mom Mode
Breakfast, backpacks, and making sure nobody’s wearing mismatched socks (though, let’s be honest, sometimes they are). This is the busiest hour of the day, but it’s also full of laughter, little hugs, and morning chaos that I wouldn’t trade for anything.

9:00 AM – Movement
Once the kids are at school, I hit the gym for my daily workout. Getting it out of the way first thing keeps me focused and motivated for the rest of the day. It’s my reset button and fuels me for everything else.

10:00 AM – Reset
After my workout and shower, I take a few minutes to tidy up the kitchen. I’ve learned that a clear space really does equal a clearer head.

11:00 AM – Coffee & Strategy
Round two: iced coffee. With my cup in hand, I dive into the day’s biggest priority before I even peek at emails. This way, even if chaos happens, the most important thing always gets done.

11:30 AM – Business Mode On
Client calls, projects, and content creation happen here. This is where I put on my CEO hat and dive deep into work that moves my business forward.

3:00 PM – Mom Mode… Again
School pickup, after-school chatter, and prepping dinner. By the time the boys are in bed around 8, I like to take a few minutes to reset my desk so I wake up to a clean, inspiring space for tomorrow.

My routine isn’t perfect, and I don’t expect it to be. But having these anchor points — coffee, movement, strategy, and family time — keeps me centered being a single mom of two kids! If you’re building your own routine, remember: start small. Even one intentional habit can make your whole day feel different.
